Hi Everyone,
Once again we find ourselves in the airport, tired and sad that our Maple Leaf days are over. We had the added complication that daylight savings started today, so we had to get up that hour earlier after packing and repacking our bags yet again. Suzi is getting very adept at downsizing before each flight. Another bundle of clothing left behind for charity, (let’s hope New York is not too cold!?!) and a little balancing act between bags at the airport and we are set to go.
We have been blessed by the kindness of friends and their families during our visit to Toronto and surrounding areas. On our arrival from Vancouver we stayed for 2 days with Leah Costantini and her parents Frank and Loretta. They were amazingly hospitable giving us a home and filling our table (and take away bags) full of delicious food and treats. We then stayed with Melissa Townsend and her parents Jamie and Patty, who also took us into their home and spoiled us absolutely rotten. The kids were in heaven!! We have found Canadian hospitality to be unsurpassed.
We are very sad that we are saying goodbye to Canada within the hour, but can’t wait for New York and the adventures we will have.
Until next time.
